”Germany as exporter for security - a view on Germany’s humanitarian and military intervention in Lebanon and Afghanistan”.

Niels Annen, member of the German parliament for the Social Democratic Party and expert for international affairs, talks about Germany’s current engagement in the Middle East and Germany’s
interests and perspectives from the Mediterranean Sea to the Hindu Kush.

We will also discuss the possible involvement of Germany in an international peace mission at the Gaza borders.

We are very happy to host Niels Annen who is a friend and supporter of the Willy-Brandt-Center for many years.
