Education for a Social Change - Creating Educational Partnership in the Middle East

Goal of the IFM-SEI educational regional project is to create partnership in the middle east through a joint long-term educational process and by that to promote social change in the spirit of human equality and socialism. The educational cooperation should enable the movements to find and build a deep common ground. The process should take place between the movements and inside of each movement. All organizations agreed that the needs of all involved movements should be met in the project and that the project should strengthen each organization. Purpose is as well to create a joint strong regional platform within the IFM-SEI. The leading group of the project consists of representatives of all involved youth movements.

Aim of the educational process is to find and agree on common values, to know the current situation, to create a joint understanding and consciousness of reality, to get to know the other society (societies) in-depth, to understand the language, culture, history and the narratives of all sides.

At the moment the youth movements work on the following topics: Critical Thinking, fon-formal Education, identity, human equality, the potential of youth movements in changing societical reality.
