What happens if a Arab Israeli man falls in love with a Palestinian woman or an Arab Israeli woman falls in love with a Palestinian man? The two couples in the documentary can get married, but a law passed in 2003 prevents them from living in Israel.

And it is the same thing in Palestine. There is no territory that recognises them. Kifah and her husband sadly decide to go into exile in Germany, whilst Rabia and Suhad live in Jerusalem, but she lives in an unbearable state of illegality, taking huge risks every time she has to go through a checkpoint.
